About Us

About Tallwood Media

Tallwood Media is an SEO and content growth company built around media partnerships. We fund and operate dedicated review sections inside news publishers and digital media brands, and we provide SEO, content production, digital PR and link building to review and comparison websites. Our initial specialisation is iGaming and betting reviews.

What we do

Two Lines of Work, One Discipline

Our publisher partnerships programme funds and runs review sections inside established publications: we bring the research, content, technology and commercial management; the publisher brings its audience, editorial judgement and approval rights, and is paid for the partnership. Our services practice applies the same disciplines (search, editorial and outreach) to review and comparison websites as a standalone engagement.

Both lines of work are run by the same teams, to the same Editorial Standards, with the same habit of writing things down: scope, responsibilities, acceptance criteria and reporting are documented before work begins.

Why publisher partnerships

Review content is most useful where readers already are, and most trustworthy where an editor is accountable for it.

Why we chose the publisher partnership model

Standalone review sites have to earn trust from nothing. Publishers already have it, together with an audience, an editorial culture and the standards that come with them. A review section inside a publication can serve readers better than a site built purely to rank, provided it is produced to a real methodology, disclosed honestly and approved by editors who can say no.

That is the model we chose to build the company around. It aligns three interests: readers get reviews they can rely on in a title they already read; publishers gain a funded section and an additional revenue line without taking on the production risk; and we get to do our best work in an environment with standards higher than the open web's.

It also disciplines us. We describe the real relationship, who produces the content, who is accountable for it and why it belongs on the publisher's site, and we do not promise the transfer of domain authority, preserved rankings or the absence of search risk. Partnerships that need those promises to make sense are not partnerships we take on.

How we are organised

Four Teams Behind Every Section

Each partnership is staffed from four teams with a named lead for each, so a publisher always knows who is responsible for what.

Partnerships

Publisher partnerships

Assessment, proposals, agreements, reporting and the standing relationship with each publisher's commercial and editorial leads.

Editorial

Content and standards

Methodology, briefs, writing, editing, fact-checking, localisation, updates, corrections and the application of the Editorial Standards.

Search

SEO and analytics

Technical audits, demand research, section architecture, implementation specifications, measurement and monthly reporting.

Technology

Development and integration

Templates, integration with the publisher's stack, performance, structured data, access management and maintenance within scope.

How we work

Principles We Hold Ourselves To

We write it down first
Scope, responsibilities, approval rights, reporting and what happens at the end of a partnership are documented before launch, not negotiated afterwards.
We describe the real relationship
Readers, publishers and partners are told who produces the content, who is accountable for it and how it is funded.
We do not sell guarantees
No guaranteed rankings, traffic or revenue; no “zero risk”; no claims of approval by any search engine. We agree measurable work and honest reporting instead.
We say no when the fit is wrong
If a publication, market or topic cannot be served to our standards, we say so during the assessment rather than after launch.
We keep the publisher in control
Domain, audience and the approval rights in the agreement stay with the publisher. Access is minimal, named and removed when the work ends.

Competencies and markets

Where We Work

Our core competencies are search strategy and delivery, review content production and localisation, digital PR and outreach, and the technical integration of content sections into existing publishing stacks. Our initial vertical is iGaming and betting reviews.

We do not maintain a public list of countries. Every market is assessed for the specific publication: language, audience, regulatory context, required disclosures and whether we have the editorial capability to run the section properly. Where we cannot support a market to our standards, we say so.

Our office is in Twin City Tower, Bratislava, Slovakia. Meetings there are by appointment; the contact page has the map and our messaging options.
